Dena Kouremetis has an intense passion for her trade as a writer, editor, speaker and trainer. She devotes her career to help businesses succeed through the use of her skills as a superior communicator who understands her respective audiences. She takes great pride in her work and goes above and beyond to deliver superior marketing, public relations and media copy. She also does ghostwriting, speechwriting, teleseminars, Podcasts, Webcast scripts and professional profiles and provides editorial services.

She started writing professionally over 12 years ago with her 'Under Contructions' column for the The Sacramento Bee and subsequently went to work as a new homes marketing and business development manager for Sacramento’s The Advantage Group. In 1998, she began writing full-time and co-authored two real estate books, The Homebuyer’s Kit and The Homeseller’s Kit with syndicated real estate columnist Edith Lank. She also wrote article content, PodCast and webcast scripts for various projects, including LendingTree.com’s proprietary homebuilder web site, iNest.com,; Move.com (Realtor.com); consulted and ghost wrote a real estate book for Jordan Goodman; authored a book for a public relations firm on behalf of a major Sacramento homebuilder; continued to write freelance for the homebuilding and real estate industries and began writing two columns in late 2008 as National Housing Examiner and LadyBoomer Examiner for Examiner.com.

Kouremetis has extensive experience as a professional trainer and is not happy until her students are literally bouncing off walls with enthusiasm to implement what they have just learned in class. She was a sales training manager and consultant for Coldwell Banker NRT’s San Francisco/Peninsula region and traveled extensively throughout the western U.S. as a new homes sales trainer for a Phoenix-based sales training firm. She has also been a keynote speaker for homebuilding organizations and guest on several radio shows throughout the U.S.

Having been published in dozens of national and regional newspapers and magazines, Kouremetis’ columns and features have appeared in the Sacramento Bee, Realty Times.com, Inman.com, Gold Country Media Papers, Reno Gazette Journal, The New York Post, Sacramento Business Journal and East Bay Business Journal, Builder and Developer Magazine, OPTIONS Magazine, Today’s Home Magazine, Senior Living Magazine and many more.

Dena Kouremetis has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ball State University in secondary-level teaching and a minor in psychology.
